Maurice Valett Interests: Ecosystem ecology and biogeochemistry
of aquatic systems, Groundwater ecology and the
integration of biology , Ecological restoration and
the role of microbial processes. Maury joined the hydrogeoecology group in 1991
as a postdoctoral associate and later was a
Visiting Assistant professor in the Biology
Department. He serves on the committees of several
graduate students and is a PI on many grants with
faculty from UNM.
