Assignment 2

The figure below illustrates (via the yellow symbols) the magnitude of annual pan evaporation throughout the state of New Mexico. Three locations representing sites in northern, central, and southern New Mexico were selected for closer analysis. The graph in the bottom left side of the figure depicts pan evaporation at El Vado Dam, Los Lunas, and State University. The graph suggests that pan evaporation in New Mexico increases from north to south in July.
